Foster a Future is part of Newcastle City Council Children's Services Directorate. We recruit, train and support foster carers to look after children and young people who, for any number of reasons, are unable to live at home.

Fostering placements can be for a short time or could be for much longer depending upon circumstances. Through these placements we hope to enable looked after children to fully achieve their personal and social development and educational and employment potential. Our aim is to provide a good quality service that people have confidence in.
We appreciate that choosing to foster a child is a decision which cannot be taken lightly but we hope that the information contained in these pages will encourage you to take the first step into fostering by completing our on-line response form.
