Inclusion Fund and Disability Access Fund

Inclusion Fund and Disability Access Fund

Inclusion Fund

The inclusion fund is available to support all funded two-, three-and-four-year-olds who may need additional resources (including a higher staff ratio or equipment)

Your early years, childcare provider or school applies for this funding usually once the child has started so they can assess your child's needs. If you think additional support is needed before your child can attend you can discuss this with your provider or with other professionals who are involved with your child.

Disability Access Fund

If your child is in receipt of Disability Living Allowance you should let your early years, childcare provider or school know as they can claim an annual payment for £615 per three-and-four-year-old.  Unlike the inclusion fund which is to meet a child's specific needs, this payment can be used by the provider to improve access to all children with SEND to meet existing or future needs.
