WOMEN TALKING is an exhibition and pamphlet of pictures and poetry from painter Janet Lynch and poet Ellen Phethean. It is the result of sharing and responding to each other, two Women Talking through their art.
Janet Lynch lives in Cornwall. she has worked and exhibited continuously in many solo shows, including, the Royal Academy. ‘Life experiences, the loves, the losses, the excitements, the sadness and of course motherhood all have had a part to play in the work I create.’
Ellen Phethean lives in Newcastle.She has written, performed and been a sound artist all her working life, often in collaborative ways with The Women’s Theatre Group, & Live Literature with The Poetry Virgins. Her first poetry collection ‘Breath’ was shortlisted for London New Poetry Award.
