An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Audit, Risk and Insurance Service for the post of Auditor.

Our Internal Audit team provides services to the Council and a range of other public sector clients such as Nexus, Northumberland National Parks Authority and Your Homes Newcastle. These services include the delivery of audit assignments, fraud investigation work and the identification of opportunities to improve value for money and efficiency. The service conforms to the Public Sector Internal Audit Standard.

The successful candidate will deliver internal audit assignments and investigations to a high standard, and have a key role in maintaining strong relationships and championing improvement and efficiency. The post reports to the Audit, Risk and Insurance, Service Manager.
