We are looking to secure flexible and enthusiastic people to be part of Newcastle City Councils Road Safety Team as Casual Road Safety Instructors.

You must be willing to work as part of a team delivering a range of road safety programmes to children and adults in Newcastle. The role requires the post holder to have excellent communication skills, have a flexible approach to work and enjoy working within schools and with members of the public.

The successful applicant should be able to drive and ride a bike with confidence and be willing to undergo further training as required. Ideally, they will be a Bikeability qualified instructor.

The post will be for various hours on a casual basis. The training hours will be delivered throughout the year with the majority of time being committed during school term time.
