For September 2020, we seek a teacher to join our successful team of passionate educators in our school. This post is temporary, for one year, in the first instance.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who can model and inspire children to love learning, develop independence and a sense of responsibility, who can help to shape our children to be the best they can be.

If you are a passionate teacher, who is creative, ambitious and embraces innovation, then you may be who we are looking for. If you set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities and wholly believe in promoting our values and ethos to the wider school community, we would love you to make the choice to join Wingrove Primary School.

Wingrove is a large primary school serving a vibrant and diverse population in Newcastle’s west end. We are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a range of recruitment checks and to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS.

As this post involves working with children, vulnerable adults or dealing with sensitive information, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage; even if you indicate otherwise.
