Required from September 2021. This will initially be a 12 month contract, with the possibility of being made permanent dependant on budget restraints.

St Charles’ Catholic Primary School, part of the Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust (BBCET) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious teacher to join our fantastic team as we strive to provide fantastic opportunities for our children.

The Governors wish to appoint a motivated and passionate teacher who will make a significant contribution to our school. Here, we are all working towards a common goal - a shared vision to provide forward thinking teaching and memorable experiences through the curriculum to prepare our children for life. Due to the flexibility of the current staff team, the position could be based within Key Stage 1 or 2. Candidates are required to state their preference on the application.

We endeavour to offer our staff unique opportunities through quality CPD to ensure we continue to develop your own interests, curiosity and creativity. We seek to appoint an excellent classroom teacher who is able to nurture our children towards reaching their full potential.

After shortlisting, any successful candidates will be informed of arrangements for when the interviews will take place.

Please note - The structure and format of interviews will depend upon guidance at the time regarding COVID-19 social distancing. If a face to face interview is not possible due to national lockdown measures, we may need to carry out the process through the medium of video conferencing.
