Newcastle City Council Revenues, Benefits & Exchequer Team has undergone major transformation and we are implementing new and leaner operating models supported by digital and online solutions and we are looking to recruit an experienced officer to join our successful and dynamic team.

As a Debt Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for collection, recovery and enforcement of income from sundry debt and housing benefit overpayments. You will work as part of a team dealing with all aspects of sundry debt recovery, ideally you will have experience of working in this area or working within a financial, customer or debt recovery environment.

Once training has taken place there is an expectation that you will be working from home for most of the time.
