Working alongside other design professionals and responsible to the Team Leader, your experience and skills in all aspects of landscape design and planning will help us deliver professional services. Newcastle Council is currently developing a recovery response to Covid19 and we expect that well designed public spaces and the provision of a sustainable green infrastructure will be central to this recovery plan. Additional we are working with other colleagues to mitigate the effects of climate change.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the preparation of feasibility studies and design options for sites ranging from small school playgrounds to multi-sport recreational facilities, detailed design and specification including planting design and maintenance schedules, project management and delivery through to completion on site.
