We are looking for a driven, self-motivated engineer to work within our Flood Risk Management Team. Do you have a keen interest in the impacts of climate change, and do you want to make a positive difference in helping Newcastle become a more resilient city?

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and qualified person to assist in our role as Lead Local Flood Authority, acting as statutory consultee to the Local Planning Authority dealing with major development applications. You should have experience of the planning process, a detailed knowledge of concepts and principles involved in drainage design and surface water management, and an ability to use industry standard software effectively.
