The Board of Trustees are seeking an experienced, talented and inspirational leader with the right vision and ethos to lead our two Alternative Provision Academies along their continuing journey of development, success and achievement. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the educational experience of an extremely diverse pupil population.

Prosper Learning Trust was formed in January 2018 and currently consists of three schools

• Newcastle Bridges School - Alternative Provision Academy

• Mary Astell Academy - Alternative Provision Academy

• Thomas Bewick School - Special School Academy.

We are an ambitious growing Trust and will open Harry Watts Academy (Special School Academy) in Sunderland in September 2020.

This is an extremely exciting time in the development of Prosper Learning Trust with this appointment seen as crucial in increasing leadership capacity to enable the organisation to move forward with its strategic growth plans. The Executive Headteacher will provide strategic leadership for Newcastle Bridges School and Mary Astell Academy but will also be expected to work with the CEO to develop school improvement strategies across the Trust.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who has the drive, determination and energy to embrace this new role, either a current serving Headteacher or with very recent experience of Headship. You will have a strong sense of moral purpose with the ability to make robust decisions in the best interests of pupils. The new Executive Headteacher will be leading enthusiastic, experienced and hardworking teams who are proud of their schools.
