The Fairer Housing Unit in Newcastle City Council has a fixed term vacancy available in its Policy and Commissioning Team. This role will aid the policy team in analysing and briefing officers on housing policies, trends, and best practice that will have an impact on, and influence housing services provided by the Council.

You will work closely with our strategic partners to ensure relationships are maintained and that our policies and strategies are aligned where possible. You will possess research skills and be able to summarise key information and present it in understandable formats for various audiences - exemplary writing skills are critical.
