Commissioning and Procurement

Based in the Collaborative and Sourcing Team

We are seeking to recruit a committed individual, to join the Commissioning and Procurement Team within the Resources Directorate.

The successful candidate will be committed to working as part of a team which supports multiple service areas of the Council and our Arms-Length Management Organisation, Your Homes Newcastle, to procure goods, works and services for their staff and the residents of the City.

A good standard of written communication skills is essential and commercial procurement acumen across dedicated category areas of spend.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team which is focussed on improving services delivered to the residents of Newcastle.
