Newcastle City Council, Revenues and Benefits Team, has undergone major transformation and we are implementing new and leaner operating models supported by digital and online solutions and we are looking to recruit two Revenues Service Specialist to join our successful and dynamic team.

As a Revenues Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert, technical advice and guidance to staff, customers, clients and external organisation in all areas of council tax. You will also be responsible for supporting staff through uncertain periods of change by promoting innovation and new solutions to ensure that efficiencies and savings are achieved whist service performance improves.

Experience of working within a council tax service is essential for this role.

Once training has taken place there is an expectation that you will be working from home for most of the time.
