Dinnington First School is a popular two-form entry first school serving the Gosforth community. We are a valued member of ‘The Gosforth Schools Trust’ and we work closely with all of our neighbouring first and middle schools in order to learn from each other and keep developing together through shared support and collaboration.

At Dinnington First School our vision is: ‘Learn, Enjoy, Succeed Together’

A community that works hard and supports each other to be the best that we can be.

Our Dinnington R.O.C.K.S values (Resilience, Open to New Experiences, Community, Kindness and Success) are at the heart of everything that we do in school.

If you are a dynamic, passionate teacher, who is creative, ambitious and embraces innovation, then you may be who we are looking for. If you have high expectations across all areas of school life which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities and wholly believe in promoting our values and ethos to the wider school community, we would love for you to come and join our team!
