St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic teacher of business studies who has the ability to engage and enthuse pupils with a passion for the subject. This is an excellent opportunity to join our small yet successful department to teach both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including a range of business studies related qualifications including GCSE, A level and OCR Cambridge National/ Technicals. The successful applicant will receive support from a highly experienced subject leader.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the business studies curriculum and how this can be taught in an inspiring way to maximise outcomes, whilst both instilling and developing a passion for the subject. For this role you will need excellent subject knowledge and a strong track record of successfully delivering pupil outcomes. The ability to extend pupils’ engagement beyond the school day, through co-curricular activities would be an advantage. Above all, we are looking for someone who will help our boys become better men; raising their aspirations and achievement and showing them the importance of studying a business studies related qualification in the modern world.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established and aspirational department in an outstanding, all-boys Catholic School that has enjoyed a reputation as a centre of educational excellence for over one hundred years.
