We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Teacher of the Deaf, to provide specialist support for children with hearing needs to achieve the best educational outcomes and independence. It is anticipated that you will join the team of teachers and support staff in the well established and successful Hearing Impairment Service.

We are ideally looking for a candidate with the mandatory qualification as a Teacher of the Deaf. We are also willing to consider applications from qualified teachers with recent experience of working with deaf children and who are willing to undertake the mandatory training.

The post offers an exciting opportunity for successful, enthusiastic Teachers of the Deaf willing to work across a range of age groups and abilities. The successful candidate should understand that they may be required to work in any of our HI resourced provisions or as part of the peripatetic team in the future.
