Over the coming months a North Kenton Park Action group will be set up. Kenton Councillor Anya Durrant has been appointed to the Board.

- Action on climate change - The City Council are committed to Newcastle being carbon neutral on production and consumption by 2030. The Climate Change Convention has seen the establishment of a Climate Change Committee (Kenton councillors Stephen Lambert and Ged Bell have recently been appointed), a Net Zero Task Force and a Citizens Assembly.
