Welfare and Wellbeing Support

The lifeline support service that has given help to residents affected by the pandemic is still on hand to give essential support and help to people during the current situation.

The Council's Welfare and Wellbeing team can talk residents through how long to isolate for, answer questions about vaccinations and  match you to volunteers to do your shopping, walk your dog or phone you to check you are doing OK.

The team can also support you to access free and low cost food where necessary.  They can also refer you to the Council's finance team who can offer advice and support around debt and budgeting.  For more information ring 0800 170 7001 or complete an online form.
