Purchase card expenditure

We believe it is important to be open about how we spend money. 

Each quarter we will publish a list of all payments we make through our purchase cards (including VAT), showing:

• who we paid
• how much we paid
• what this was for

The reports, listed by financial quarter, will be prepared and published 30 days after the end of each quarter and will include all payments we make using Newcastle City Council procurement purchase cards.

There may be several supplier names within the reports where the name has been replaced by "Redacted Personal Data."  This follows Government guidelines for payments made to individuals, where the publication of their name may contravene the data protection act.  Examples of these types of payments include (but are not limited to) adult social care payments and payments to foster carers.
