Members of Parliament (MPs) are elected every few years at a UK parliamentary general election.  Each MP serves in the House of Commons representing people living in a particular area (constituency). 

Who your MPs are

Parliament has been dissolved and there are currently no MPs until after the general election on 4 July 2024.

Constituencies in Newcastle

Depending on where you live in Newcastle your vote will select the Member of Parliament (MP) for one of five areas:

  • Cramlington and Killingworth
  • Hexham
  • Newcastle upon Tyne Central and West
  • Newcastle upon Tyne East and Wallsend
  • Newcastle upon Tyne North
