Newcastle Christmas Market
You know Yuletide is just around the corner when the smell of sizzling bratwurst and mulled wine fills the city centre streets.
Our popular Christmas Market will return to the city centre for 2021 on Thursday December 2.
Around 30 Christmas market stalls will be set up around Grey’s Monument to create a "winter wonderland."
Local traders have been given the opportunity this year to bring something special and make it a Christmas to remember.
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday – 9am to 6pm
- Thursday – 9am to 7pm
- Sunday – 10am to 5pm
- Christmas Eve – 9am to 4pm

Newcastle's much loved Quayside Market will be open on both Saturdays and Sundays in the run up to Christmas.
From 9am to 4pm, immerse yourself in the vibrant street market that stretches from the Swing Bridge to the Millenium Bridge, with independent traders selling handcrafted goods, local products and street food.

Grainger Market is set to open on Sundays and until late on Thursdays to welcome festive shoppers.
From November 28, the market will be open from 11am to 4pm every Sunday until 19 December.
And on Thursday December 2, 9, 16 and 23 it will see opening hours extended to 7.30pm.
