Magpies Go Smarter

Magpies Go Smarter is our scheme to promote the use of public transport, walking and cycling for journeys to Newcastle United home games at St James’ Park.

It’s aimed at encouraging fans to leave the car at home on match day in order to reduce unnecessary car journeys to help ease congestion on our roads and improve our health.

Magpies Go Smarter is managed by Newcastle City Council on behalf of the Newcastle United Supporter Travel Plan Advisory Board, which includes Nexus, Network One, Newcastle City Council and Newcastle United.
