No changes to Stagecoach services

Changes to Arriva services 54, X7 and X8 from Monday 20 May 2019

Be aware of changes to the routes and timetables of services 54, X7 and X8. You can download timetables from Arriva's website

Service 54: Newcastle - Gosforth - South Gosforth - Quorum - Killingworth - Backworth - Shiremoor - Whitley Bay

Buses travelling towards Newcastle will revert to their normal route via West Farm Avenue, Salters Lane, and Killingworth Road between Quorum and South Gosforth. However, buses travelling towards Killingworth, Shiremoor and Whitley Bay will continue to operate via Benton Park Road, Four Lane Ends Metro and Benton Road.

As a result there will be some changes to the timetable, with most buses to Newcastle running a few minutes earlier or later to reflect their revised route.

X7/X8 Newcastle - South Gosforth - Quorum - Burradon - Seaton Delaval or Cramlington - Blyth

Buses travelling towards Newcastle will revert to their normal route via Balliol, Salters Lane and Killingworth Road between Quorum and South Gosforth. Buses travelling towards Blyth will continue to operate via Benton Park Road and Benton Road.

As a result there will be some changes to the timetable, with most buses to Newcastle running a few minutes earlier or later to reflect their revised route.

Buses will also use Stand V instead of Stand U in Haymarket bus station.
