Environmental permitting - public register

Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 

Local authorities are required by Environmental Permitting Regulations to maintain a public register containing information on the installations and mobile plant they are responsible for. This register must be made available to members of the public for them to view free of charge. Copies of the documents may be made available for a reasonable fee.

The public register can be viewed, by appointment, at the Council's offices:

This register only includes information on Part A2 and Part B processes that are regulated by the Council. The Council is no longer required to keep a register of Part A processes located in Newcastle upon Tyne and regulated by the Environment Agency.
