£38,223 - £42,403 per annum
We’re recruiting one full time permanent and one full time Temp (intial fixed for 12 months) Commissioning and Procurement Officers.
The temporary position is also open to a secondment (with Manager approval). Commisisoning and Procurment Officers will be required to work across the adult social care and inclusion agendas. This means you’ll have experience or knowledge of adult social care services (including residential care, day care, supported living schemes), Public Health services (sexual health, stop smoking programmes, drugs and alcohol support), homelessness and rough sleeping services, services that support people who have experienced domestic abuse, and the role that prevention has in reducing risk of harm or crisis.
We’re looking for people to join our team who understand the local systems and how the services we commission respond to local need. You’ll have a demonstrable knowledge and understanding of commissioning, quality and performance assessment principles (including the role of monitoring and outcomes-based commissioning) across the adult social care or inclusion category areas. You will ideally be CIPS qualified, or be able to demonstrate experience of procurement activity/ other relevant experience. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and be able to establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure the value of our contracts are maximised to improve outcomes for our residents.
