About the role

As a result of a recent restructure, and the centralisation of the HR function, we are now seeking two self-motivated and organised HR Coordinators to provide comprehensive high-level HR administration support in all aspects of the employee life-cycle, on behalf of the Trust's central team and academies within the group.

This is a newly created role where you can add real value by supporting the team to shape and streamline HR operations, systems and process across the Trust. If you are keen on self-development, this is an ideal role to grow and develop your HR skills and knowledge further.

As HR Coordinator you will be responsible for the administration of the employee life cycle, on-boarding/off-boarding, data collection and analysis, administration of employee benefits and payroll, as well as supporting our HR Business Partners with case management and note taking as required.

The central HR function is currently based at Jesmond Park Academy.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a person who thrives in a busy environment and wants to be part of a collaborative and innovative team, with drive and passion to deliver an excellent HR service. The work is fast-paced and varied, meaning no two days are the same, therefore you will need to be self motivated, well organised, forward thinking, with exceptional attention to detail. You will have advanced administration skills and will be comfortable using Microsoft Office and HR software packages. Confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive data in a professional manner is a prerequisite of the role.

Being part of a wider HR team, you will need to be a great team player with a flexible approach, willing to support the wider HR team during busy periods when required. Given the nature of the role you must be a skilled listener, have the ability to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of your audience and or situation, and ensure that your working style cultivates positive customer relationships.
