Do you have experience of working with adults who have suffered trauma or have complex behavioural needs? Are you able to pass on your knowledge and experience of promoting positive behaviour through high quality training?

If so then this role is for you!

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with adults in social care settings who can help us develop our trauma informed approach. You will work alongside our internal Care and Support and Prevention services teams, and together you will support staff teams to better understand and meet the needs of adults with complex behavioural needs, reducing the need for physical intervention.

You will also have experience of physical intervention and be able to provide training to groups of staff to ensure that people who use our services and staff are safe and lead the de-brief process to ensure that no opportunity for learning is missed.

You will have experience of delivering training, undertaking training needs analysis and adapting training to meet the needs of the service. You will also have experience of working with adults who display challenging behaviours with a proven track record of de-escalation.

You will join a dynamic and dedicated team. This is a busy but rewarding role, which will make a real difference to the experience of people who use our services by providing essential support to the staff who support them.
