Repairs and Construction Services
Newcastle City Council are looking to appoint a Programme and Resource Planner in the Construction Services section.
The successful candidate will support the Programme and Projects Manager in the management of Repairs & Construction Services technical and support functions and contribute to the delivery of contractual obligations.
In particular, help to determine priorities and provide a high level of technical expertise and experience to the team, ensuring adequate resources and supplies are obtained, overseeing day-to-day allocation of work.
We are looking for someone with the:
<ul>
<li>Experience of programme management of construction schemes from inception to completion;</li>
<li>Ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver to deadlines;</li>
<li>Experience of managing budgets;</li>
<li>A demonstrable track record of successfully building partnerships and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience of operation in a commercial environment, maximising income generation opportunities against agreed targets. </li>
