Newcastle City Council is seeking to appoint Public Health Practitioners within our ambitious and passionate Public Health Directorate.
We are looking for excellent candidates who are wanting a challenge and focused on using their public health expertise and experience to make a meaningful improvement to the health and wellbeing of Newcastle residents.
The successful candidates will be responsible for driving and influencing public health action across the Newcastle system. Candidates should be committed to addressing health inequalities by contributing to the overall aims of the department service plan and local authority priorities.
Practitioners will be expected to have experience of collaborative working and stakeholder involvement with a broad range of partners across the domains of public health and including community engagement.
