An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Revenues and Benefits Team. We have undergone major transformation and we are implementing new and leaner operating models supported by digital and online solution and seeking to recruit Revenues Officers to join our successful dynamic team.

As a Revenues Officer, you will be responsible for billing, collection, and recovery of Council Tax. This includes processing changes of address, applying discounts, reliefs, and exemptions, verifying, and processing refunds and dealing with general council tax account maintenance.
You will need to learn and understand relevant legislation to be able to do this. You will also deal with phone calls from customers, property owners, managing agents and other third parties to deal with council tax enquiries, you will negotiate and set up payment arrangements.
Once Training has taken place there is an expectation that you will be working from home for most of the time.
To be successful, you will need to be enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to process high volumes of work accurately within prescribed deadlines and you must be dedicated to continuous improvement.
