About the Academy

North Gosforth Academy is a small secondary school from Year 7 through to Year 11 with a strong focus on providing high quality education in a safe, happy and caring environment. Community is at the heart of what we do. About the role

We are looking to appoint a brilliant and suitably qualified Support Assistant who is passionate, pro-active and innovative to join the Academy’s successful Learning Support department. The successful candidate will support with learning and also with behaviour and attendance issues as appropriate. The post is ideal for someone who is focussed on student welfare and progress and keen to be an integral part of the many varied aspects of school life.
