The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic musician and an expert in their field, having the ability to inspire in a way to maximise participation and outcomes, whilst both instilling and developing lifelong passions for the subject in our pupils. For this role, you will need excellent subject knowledge and experience in delivering successful ensembles and pupil outcomes. The ability to extend pupils’ engagement beyond the classroom, through co-curricular activities would be essential and proficient piano skills are desirable. Above all, we are looking for someone who will help our boys become better men, leading by example, raising their aspirations and achievement and showing them the importance of studying and respecting the relevance of music within the context of the modern world.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established and aspirational department in an all-boys Catholic School that has enjoyed a reputation as a centre of educational excellence for over one hundred years. We welcome applications from newly qualified, ECT and experienced Music teachers alike.
