ICT Services

In order to support NCC in providing a secure, high-performing digital IT service to all of our customers, we are seeking to appoint two Technology Delivery Leads.

One role will cover our Network and Telephony Operations team and the other our Enterprise, Cloud and Unix team. The roles are key in ensuring that we both put in place the key services that are essential in meeting our strategic objectives in providing an agile and modern service that meets the needs of our customers as well as providing the governance required to maintain our operational activities which support all of NCC’s services.

You should have an in-depth technical knowledge of one of the two technology areas as well as a solid understanding of how that service integrates across a broad range of ICT services that you might expect from a complex infrastructure support environment.

The roles will lead and manage a highly skilled team of existing staff through an ongoing transformative roadmap whilst ensuring existing services are maintained in an efficient and secure manner.

A high level of communication skills is essential for this post, as is extensive experience of assessing, planning and implementing new ICT infrastructure solutions.

Apply online at www.northeastjobs.org.uk, select 'Apply Now' and complete our online application form. Before completing the form please ensure you read the supporting documents.

We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post involves working with children and/or vulnerable adults. If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have had any criminal convictions and a check of police information.

As this post involves working with children, vulnerable adults or dealing with sensitive information, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage; even if you indicate otherwise.
