We are holding events across our branches to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
Monday 30 May
- Cruddas Park Library Drop in children's crafts, from 11am to 12.15pm
- Fenham Library Drop in children's crafts, 11am to 12pm
- West End Library Drop in children's crafts, from 2pm to 3.30pm
Tuesday 31 May
- City Library Royal Visitors to Newcastle, talk by Anthea Lang, 2.30pm Bewick Hall (part of Local History Month)
- Gosforth Library Drop in coffee morning, royal quiz and children's crafts, from 11am to 4pm
- Gosforth Library Teddy Bears' Picnic story times, 11am and 2pm. Please book your free place on eventbrite.
- Kenton Library Drop in coffee morning, royal quiz and children's crafts, from 10am to 2pm
Wednesday 1 June
- Blakelaw Library Drop in children's crafts, from 10am to 2pm
- City Library Drop in children's crafts, from 11am to 1pm
- City Library Family Ceilidh, from 2pm to 4pm. Learn some traditional Scottish dances with music from the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. Please book your free place on eventbrite.

- Denton Burn Library Drop in coffee morning, from 10am to 2pm
- Fenham Library Drop in coffee morning with crafts and story time, 11am - 12.30pm
- High Heaton Library Drop in coffee morning, from 10am to 1pm
- Newburn Library Drop in coffee morning and children's crafts, from 10am to 2pm
- Outer West Library Drop in coffee morning and children's crafts, from 10am to 2pm
