Activities for adults and teens

Activities for adults and teens

Our regular groups run weekly, fortnightly and monthly and include reading groups, knit and crochet groups, chess and more.

Groups are run by library staff or library volunteers and are open to new members. For all groups, except reading groups, there is no booking required. Please just drop in and see if it's for you. If you're interested in joining one of the reading groups listed please email readinggroups@newcastle.gov.uk and we'll match you up with a group you'll enjoy.

We also host several independent reading groups. See our profile on Reading Groups for Everyone to find out more and join one of these groups.
