Draft Design Guidance for Landmarks and Gateways

A draft urban design guidance document has been prepared for consultation to provide ‘Design Guidance for Landmarks and Gateways in Newcastle’s Urban Core’.

The document will be used to achieve the following:

1. To raise design and sustainability standards more generally across the city.
2. Set the scene for strategically understanding the urban core and help identify areas with potential for enhancement in the future.
3. Help showcase Newcastle and promote investment in the city.

The Council would like to invite you to make comments to be received by 21st July 2021. Representations should be submitted by:
