Kingston Park Neighbourhood Forum

The Kingston Park Neighbourhood Forum was originally established on 28 October 2015 and remained in designation until 28 October 2020.

Neighbourhood forums differ from other neighbourhood planning groups in that they have a limited duration of five years starting from the date on which they are designated. Once the neighbourhood forum reaches the end of its prescribed lifespan, it can no longer produce a neighbourhood plan. A forum can apply for re-designation in order to continue working on a neighbourhood plan.

The Council received an application from Kingston Park residents to redesignate the Kingston Park Neighbourhood Forum. The consultation ran from 22 February 2021 to 6 April 2021.

The Council sought to address representations made during the consultation and considered whether to designate the proposed neighbourhood forum. On 21 May 2021 the acting chair and secretary of the proposed Kingston Park Neighbourhood Forum gave notice to the Council that they wished to withdraw their designation application for the Kingston Park Neighbourhood Forum.
