Get free and friendly expert advice, from people who know what works.


Seeing a local stop smoking adviser is free and will boost your chances of quitting. You can see a trained adviser alone or in a group. Your adviser will give you advice about stop smoking medication that may help you quit, such as; Nicotine Replacement Therapy or e-cigarettes, supporting you throughout your quit attempt. The service is free of charge and is open to anyone working or living in Newcastle who wants to quit smoking.


The Newcastle Stop Smoking Service is available in many pharmacies and other familiar places in the city such as, the Grainger Market and some community centres. See a full list of the free community drop-ins and drop into the one that most suits you. You do not need an appointment.
