20 November 2024Last date for you to tell us about exceptional circumstances, such as a house move, for it to be considered in the process for national offer day (the move must have happened prior to this date). If you have not submitted an on-time application, you must submit a statement and evidence of the reason why you were unable to submit an application before 31 October 2024 in order for the local authority to consider if your application meets the exceptional circumstances criteria
3 March 2025National offer day. Login online to see your offer. Alternatively we will post letters second class today to paper applicants
10 March 2025Deadline to submit late applications and late changes to be considered in late waiting list process
17 March 2025Deadline for parents to accept or refuse the offer from offer day
2 April 2024Deadline to submit an appeal to ensure it is heard in the first round of appeals.
29 April 2025Late offer process will be run to allocate places that have become available. Late applicants and late changes will be included
May – 31 August 2025Late offers made recurrently
SeptemberYour child starts school. If your child was not offered a place in your first preference school, they will remain on waiting lists for any higher preference schools that you have requested until at least 31 December. If the school clears the waiting list after this date, they will contact you. If you want to change your school preferences from 1 September, you must complete an in-year application.
