Newcastle Careers and Guidance Team for Young People

Newcastle Careers and Guidance Team for Young People

The Newcastle Careers and Guidance Team provides careers information, advice and guidance to young people aged between 13 and 19, and up to 25 if you have a learning disability or difficulty.

Careers Advisers can support you to make positive choices about your future with information about college courses, apprenticeships, 6th form in schools, employment and a range of other options depending on your needs and interests.

We can also help you with advice on a wide range of lifestyle issues and volunteering opportunities.  If you need more specialist support we can put you in touch with the right people through our networks and partnerships.

We have Careers Advisers working in secondary schools or you can drop into the Skills Hub in the Central Library where Newcastle Careers and Guidance Team staff are located Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 5pm.  If you would prefer to book an appointment please call us on 0191 277 1944 or email us at careersteam@newcastle.gov.uk.
