Building Control exists to ensure that buildings are designed and built in accordance with the Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Licensing of Skips Scaffolds and Hoardings

Demolition Notices are not required for all work, for information on when a demolition notice is not required and how to apply please go to the Demolition Notices page.
Buildings or structures considered to be dangerous can be reported to Building Control, for more information and to report a dangerous structure please go to the Dangerous Structures page.
Apply for Street Naming and Numbering
An application for street naming and numbering applies for requests for new street names and requests for new postal addresses. For more information and how to apply please go to the Street Naming and Numbering page.
Safety certificates are required for:
•Sports stadia with a capacity for 10,000 spectators. (designated grounds)
•All premier and football league stadia with a spectator capacity of 5,000. (designated grounds)
•Sports stadia with a capacity for 10,000 spectators. (designated grounds)
